Webgarh GTM Assistant is a Shopify app operated by Webgarh Solutions Private Limited ("Webgarh", "we", "us", or "our"). Webgarh GTM Assistant helps Shopify merchants configure, monitor, and improve client-side and server-side conversion tracking for platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Microsoft Ads, and other marketing or analytics destinations selected by the merchant.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information when you visit gtmassistant.app, install or use the Webgarh GTM Assistant Shopify app, contact our team, or use our related support and audit services.
By using our website, installing the Webgarh GTM Assistant app, connecting your Shopify store, or authorizing third-party integrations, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you are using Webgarh GTM Assistant on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to connect that store and authorize the processing described here.
When you contact us, request setup help, complete a form, book a call, or communicate with our support team, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, Shopify store URL, message content, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide.
When you install or use Webgarh GTM Assistant, we may collect information from your Shopify store that is required to provide the app, including store name, myshopify domain, public store URL, store owner or staff contact details, app installation status, plan information, theme or pixel configuration status, and technical settings related to tracking setup.
Depending on the features you enable, Webgarh GTM Assistant may access or process commerce data such as orders, checkouts, carts, products, collections, customer identifiers, customer contact fields, transaction amounts, taxes, shipping, discounts, currency, and event timestamps. This data is used to create, validate, enrich, and troubleshoot conversion tracking events for your store.
We may collect event delivery status, tag health signals, server request logs, pixel or container configuration details, error logs, consent status, browser and device information, IP address, user agent, referrer, landing page, session identifiers, and other technical diagnostics needed to operate and improve tracking accuracy.

Webgarh GTM Assistant is designed to send tracking events to third-party analytics and advertising platforms chosen by the merchant. Depending on your configuration, this may include Shopify, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Microsoft Ads, Snapchat, Klaviyo, server-side tagging infrastructure, cloud hosting providers, and other tools you connect.
We share data with those services only as necessary to provide the app features, complete merchant-authorized tracking setup, process support requests, or comply with legal requirements. The data sent may include event names, order values, currency, product information, customer or visitor identifiers, hashed customer contact fields, IP address, user agent, click identifiers, consent status, and other event parameters required by the destination platform.
We do not sell merchant data, customer data, Shopify data, or Google user data. We do not share Google user data for advertising, cross-site profiling, or purposes unrelated to providing or improving user-facing Webgarh GTM Assistant features.
Webgarh GTM Assistant may request access to Google APIs, including services related to Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, or Google OAuth, when you authorize us to configure, validate, or troubleshoot tracking for your account.
Any use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We retain personal information, Shopify store data, logs, and tracking diagnostics only for as long as necessary to provide Webgarh GTM Assistant, support your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.
If you uninstall the app or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information and store-related data that we are no longer required to retain. Your information may be processed in India and other countries where our hosting providers, service providers, Shopify, Google, or other connected platforms operate. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another region with similar rights, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
